Technical Product Owner - Windchill

Job Description : - The Technical Product Owner for PTC Windchill will be responsible for guiding the implementation of the PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management system across the organization. - This individual will act as the primary liaison between architect, design and implementation teams, ensuring that the deployment meets the design specifications and aligns with the business objectives. - Key responsibilities include technical solution ownership, defining and prioritizing the product backlog, communicating design specifications to the implementation team driving the development, and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during the deployment process. - The Technical Product Owner will collaborate closely with solution architects and developers, utilizing their deep understanding of PTC Windchill and related technologies, to oversee the project's progress and make crucial decisions impacting the implementation. - This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership abilities. - The Technical Product Owner will manage and guide the implementation team, which includes remote and cross-functional members. - They will ensure an efficient workflow and foster team collaboration by guiding the team through established Agile and Scrum methodologies, negotiating project priorities, and resolving conflicts. Professional Education. The ideal candidate for this role should have : - Bachelor or Master in Science, Engineering, or IT. Professional Requirements : Experience in PTC Windchill : - A minimum of 10 years of work experience in the area of Product Lifecycle Management in PTC Windchill, including at least 5 years as a solution architect or developer. - Experience in Implementing PTC Windchill: Experience in implementing solutions through configuration and customization. - Experience integrating PTC Windchill with other IT applications. - Knowledge of using CI/CD pipelines. Windchill Project Participation : - Involvement in the complete lifecycle of a PTC Windchill project from inception, design and into Go-Live. Knowledge of R&D/Product Design & Development : - Understanding of R&D/Product Design & Development in relation to Application Lifecycle Management and Product Lifecycle Management. Agile and Scrum Expertise : - Knowledge and experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies to efficiently manage a PTC Windchill implementation. Technical Ownership of Implementation : - Ability to understand the technical architecture, review code, set standards, resolve technical issues, and make key decisions for successful PTC Windchill deployment. - Leadership Requirements. Cross-functional Leadership : - Proven ability in leading diverse teams for a successful PTC Windchill deployment. Communication and Negotiation Abilities : - Effective skills in conveying technical requirements and negotiating project priorities with stakeholders. Conflict Resolution and Problem-solving Skills : - Ability to manage disagreements within the team and troubleshoot issues during the project lifecycle. Remote & External Team Management : - Proficiency in leading and managing remote Agile teams, and maintaining a strong virtual team culture. Additional Information : Role in Infineon's Global PLM Solution : - Infineon is deploying a global PLM solution to replace and integrate a patchwork of legacy R&D and related applications. - The Technical Product Owner for Windchill will play a key role to ensure the future PLM User Experience at Infineon. Focus of the New PLM Solution : - The new PLM solution focuses on project management and product data management for R&D-Engineering-Teams initially. - It will later extend to cover the entire product lifecycle, integrating with Marketing and Production. Global Team Membership : - As a member of a global team, the Technical Product Owner for Windchill will collaborate with business/IT project managers, global project and operations team, and key business stakeholders to drive the implementation of requirements with a focus on functionality, performance, and quality. Collaboration with Project and Operations Teams : - This role will work with the onsite/offsite project and operations team, other functional module owners of the PLM solution, manage external vendors, and collaborate with internal co-workers. Quality Gatekeeper : - The role serves as a quality gate for implementation and technical designs.
