About the role : Based in our GCC Hubs, the WorkDay Application Capability Centre is a key part of Haleons Tech strategy towards delivering changes to our critical Workday landscape. The team comprises of in-house and outsources resources and work together in delivering Workday Technical and Functional changes that enable Haleon to meet our Consumers needs. We are seeking an experienced Workday Techno-Functional Lead to manage the request delivery and continuous improvement of our Workday platform, encompassing Workday-related requests and changes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 of experience in Workday with a solid knowledge of HCM and Compensation, with a blend of technical and functional skills. This role will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project delivery, and ensuring that the Workday platform aligns with our organizational objectives. Exposure to other HR workday modules will be additional advantage. Role Responsibilities : - Lead the delivery of Workday platform enhancements, system upgrades, and ongoing support. - Collaborate with HR Business stakeholders to gather business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable Workday solutions. - Manage a team of functional and technical Workday specialists, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback. - Drive end-to-end project management activities, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and timeline adherence, to ensure successful Workday platform changes. - Oversee the design, configuration, and customization of Workday to meet specific business needs. - Lead change management efforts, including end-user training, documentation, and communication to enhance adoption and user satisfaction. - Act as escalation point of contact, coordinating with internal teams and Workday support to ensure timely resolution. - Continuously monitor platform performance, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and system stability. - Ensure compliance with internal policies, security protocols, and data privacy regulations in all Workday activities. Why you : Basic Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. - 7 years of experience in Workday with strong technical knowledge of Workday HCM and Compensation (configuration knowledge is required). - Solid knowledge managing Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) related tasks. - Experience managing data, system configuration, and customization within Workday. - Proven experience in project management, ideally with certification in PMP, Agile, or similar frameworks. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successfully collaborating across diverse teams and functions. - Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of Workday specialists, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and development. - Proficiency in problem-solving and delivering timely solutions. - Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that align with business goals. Preferred Qualifications : - Workday HCM certification is highly desirable. - Workday Compensation certification is highly desirable. - Exposure in Hands-on knowledge in any of these Workday areas is a plus: Talent & Performance, Recruitment, Time Tracking, Absence. - Familiarity with data security, compliance, and governance as it pertains to HR and financial data. - Experience in a large, global organization or a consulting environment.
