Architect /Principal Engineer - Network Protocols

Mandatory skillset : - B.Tech/M.Tech or MCA with 10 years of experience - Hands on experience on Cesium, Security features enablement like https, dealing with certificates, React, Tornado Web services, Angular - Experienced in Telecom or Satcom or similar field - Experience in defining Architecture and development of a feature or software in VSAT/Datacom/telecommunication domain - Experience in leading a team technically and taking ownership towards the goal Datacom (Prefered) : - Experience in Debugging network issues related to L2/L3 routing, routing protocols, TCP/IP, Ethernet and WAN systems with the usage of tools like Wireshark, Iperf & Spirent - Development and/or work exposure on VSAT/DVBS2 and proprietary satellite protocols including mobility aspects - Development on Hub side and/or terminal side - Experience Desired Tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, IXIA, Spirent, iPerf, JIRA & Confluence - Experience working in frontend(Angular, Axios CSS, HTML etc) and backend (Python) Key Accountabilities of the Role : - Responsible for providing Architecture/ high level design/ test strategy for the existing projects and new proposals. - Responsible for identification and evaluation of various tools, test languages or test methodologies and choosing the best ones. - Responsible for participating in Customer interaction for major/critical change requests/new features, moderating the meetings and highlighting impact on schedule and effort. - Responsible for reviewing Design Documents and code, Test coverage and its alignment with technical objectives. - Responsible for leading the specification of complex requirements in domain of - Responsible for leading/ participating in technical reviews to ensure quality parameters are being met. - Responsible for contribution to RFP/Documentation/complete responsibility for proposal relating to growth in existing accounts/effort estimation for new proposals. - Responsible for ensuring that both functional and non-functional (e.g. performance, scalability, security) requirements will be met or exceeded (ref:hirist.tech)
