Cloud Analogy - Data Quality Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities : Data Governance & Quality Management : - Support the global deployment of Data Quality (DQ) solutions for various clients, accounts, and business lines. - Identify, analyze, and resolve Data Quality issues to enhance governance frameworks. - Collaborate with regional and global Data Governance (DG) teams to develop, test, and deploy DQ rules and solutions. - Ensure alignment of DQ practices with organizational data governance policies. - Facilitate training and orientation sessions for business and operational users on Data Quality and governance standards. - Provide post-go-live support, addressing operational issues related to Data Quality tools. - Manage DQ tickets and coordinate with Business Intelligence (BI), operations, and technical teams for resolution. - Assist in the development of custom reports for Data Quality assessments in conjunction with DG teams. - Engage in the creation of case studies and success stories related to Data Quality initiatives. - Enrich the Data Governance wiki with relevant documentation on DQ processes and practices. Stakeholder Management : - Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business, operational, and technical teams to gather requirements and manage expectations. - Ensure smooth coordination with globally dispersed teams to drive DQ initiatives. - Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams to ensure DQ solutions meet business requirements. Project Coordination & Support : - Perform quality assurance (QA) tests on DQ solutions and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for DQ dashboards and scorecards. - Contribute to the preparation and delivery of presentations on the DQ platform to internal and external clients. - Support day-to-day operational tasks related to Data Quality tools, ensuring end-user support and issue resolution. Reporting : - Produce accurate and timely reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to reflect DQ team activities and effectiveness. Must-Have Experience : - 4-5 years of experience in data-centric roles such as Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality Management. - 1 year of hands-on experience in enterprise-scale Data Quality project implementations. - Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (MS SQL Server) and dashboard development (Tableau, MS Power View, MS Power Pivot). Technology & Tools : - Hands-on experience with Data Quality tools like Informatica DQ or Informatica Analyst. - Exposure to ETL tools such as Informatica and IBM DataStage. - Familiarity with API development, web services, and web applications (Java, .NET preferred). Preferred Experience : - Background in Data Warehousing and commercial real estate management. - Knowledge of data governance frameworks and concepts. (ref:hirist.tech)
