Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join our team and enhance our security posture. Job Description : Responsibilities : - Design and implement robust security architectures for IT systems, applications, and networks. - Evaluate and recommend security solutions, technologies, and frameworks to mitigate risks. - Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify weaknesses in our systems. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). - Create and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines. - Lead incident response efforts and develop strategies for threat detection and response. - Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to inform strategic planning. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's preferred. - Proven experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on architecture and design. - Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS). - Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments. - Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools. - Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). - Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
