Network Engineer - Routing & Switching

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and management, with proven experience in maintaining network infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance. Key Responsibilities : - Network Design & Implementation : Design and implement network solutions that meet organizational needs and enhance operational efficiency. - Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure seamless connectivity. - Monitoring & Maintenance : Monitor network performance and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference. - Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to support and enhance network services and troubleshoot connectivity issues. - Upgrades & Patching : Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to services. - Security Management : Implement and manage security protocols to protect network integrity and data privacy. - User Support : Provide technical support to users regarding network-related issues and queries. Key Skills : - Strong experience in network design, configuration, and management. - Proficiency in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF). - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). - Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols. - Understanding of routing and switching concepts and configurations. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
