Software Development Engineer - Test - API/Automation Testing

What You'll Do : - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for our insurance platform APIs using Jmeter, TAIKO, and Gauge Framework. - Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and maintainability of the test automation framework. - Collaborate with developers to identify and address API defects. - Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to the testing process. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API testing. - You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or test automation. - You have 5 years of relevant experience in API automation testing, with a strong focus on the insurance domain. - You are an expert in Jmeter, a performance and load testing tool for APIs. - You have solid experience in TAIKO, a visual testing library for web applications. - You have a good understanding of the Gauge Framework, a BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) testing framework. - You are a strong advocate for Agile methodologies and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - You possess excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with developers, QA testers, and product managers. Bonus Points : - Experience with other API testing tools like Rest Assured or Postman. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of database testing tools like SQL or NoSQL.
