Delivery Manager - Data & Analytics

Overview : The Service Delivery Lead for Data and Analytics is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of managed services in the data and analytics domain. This role ensures the efficient and effective delivery of data analytics solutions, customer satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives while adhering to SLAs and optimizing resource utilization. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the delivery of data and analytics services, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual agreements. - Act as the main point of contact for client stakeholders, managing expectations, and building strong, trusted relationships. - Conduct regular service reviews, including performance reporting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and technical support staff. - Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, security, infrastructure) to ensure seamless service delivery. - Develop and implement staff development plans to enhance technical and soft skills, ensuring high-quality service. - Establish and enforce processes, standards, and best practices for data and analytics managed services. - Oversee incident, change, and problem management processes to ensure effective response and resolution. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and tools, improving efficiency and service quality. - Engage with clients to understand their data analytics needs, aligning service delivery to support strategic business outcomes. - Facilitate quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and manage customer satisfaction surveys, addressing any issues and developing corrective action plans. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks to service delivery, including technical, operational, and compliance risks. - Monitor resource allocation, utilization, and forecasting to ensure optimal use of team capacity and client needs alignment. - Prepare and present reports on service performance, incidents, and improvements to stakeholders. - Ensure comprehensive documentation for all managed services, including workflows, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials. Skills and Competencies : - Technical Knowledge : Proficient in data management, analytics tools, data warehousing, and cloud platforms. - Leadership and Team Building : Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams. - Client-Focused : Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Project Management : Proficiency in managing complex, multi-faceted projects within a matrixed environment. Preferable Tech Stack Knowledge : - GCP : Experience in Google Cloud Platform services relevant to data management and analytics. - MSBI : Proficiency with Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) tools and related technologies. - Power BI : Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
