Network Security Engineer - Firewall

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security practices and technologies, ensuring the protection of our network infrastructure and data. Key Responsibilities : - Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities. - Implement and manage security measures to safeguard the network and data. - Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. - Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices. - Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. - Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions. - Develop and maintain documentation for network security procedures and protocols. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security. - Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS. - Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, anti-malware). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security) are a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
