UI Lead - AngularJS

Position : UI Lead Location : Experience : 5 to 8 years No. of Positions : 2 Notice Period : Immediate to 10 days Job Description : UI Lead We are seeking a highly experienced UI Lead with 5-8 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces. The candidate should be proficient in Angular 15, CSS3, HTML5, TypeScript, and familiar with testing, version control, and deployment processes. The role includes leading a team of UI developers, designing reusable components, and ensuring the delivery of top-notch user interfaces. Key Responsibilities : Mentorship & Leadership : - Guide and mentor the UI development team, particularly junior developers, helping them grow technically and professionally. - Foster a collaborative environment and ensure that best practices are followed throughout the team. UI Architecture & Design : - Design and develop the UI architecture and reusable components, ensuring high modularity -and flexibility. - Build scalable UI systems based on design systems and ensure alignment with the overall product architecture. Code Evaluation & Maintenance : - Perform reverse engineering of the existing front-end code to evaluate the current state of the UI and make recommendations for improvements or reworks. - Optimize front-end performance, ensuring the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Collaboration & Client Coordination : - Coordinate directly with clients to gather requirements and ensure that the UI meets client expectations and standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product teams, to ensure seamless user experience and alignment with product goals. User Experience & Design : - Create design sketches, wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for product features. - Work closely with product owners to define feature scope, create an effective user experience, and contribute to the overall product vision. Quality Assurance & Testing : - Write comprehensive Cypress test cases to ensure front-end quality and prevent regressions. - Conduct thorough testing, including cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Edge), to ensure the final product meets technical and usability standards. Process & Code Management : - Implement proper version control processes using Git, ensuring continuous integration and deployment using Node.js and other relevant tools. - Contribute to the improvement of processes to increase the team's efficiency and deliver high-quality UI components. Required Skills : - Expertise in Angular 15, CSS3, HTML5, and TypeScript. - Strong knowledge of Chrome, Edge compatibility and UI performance optimization. - Experience with Cypress for automated testing and VSCode for development. - Deep understanding of UI architecture and design systems. - Familiarity with version control using Git and Node.js deployment processes. Preferred Qualifications : - Proven leadership and team management experience, preferably in UI/UX teams. - Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, including design patterns, responsive design, and accessibility standards. - Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
