Network Security Engineer - Fortigate Firewall

Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled Fortinet Network Security Engineer to manage and secure our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, and will be responsible for configuring monitoring, and troubleshooting network security devices. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of our data. Key Responsibilities : - Configure, deploy and manage FortiGate firewalls and other Fortinet security products. - Design and implement network security policies, strategies, and procedures. - Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents. - Configure VPNs (SSL and IPsec) for secure remote access. - Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues. - Regularly update and patch Fortinet devices and ensure compliance with security standards. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and security incidents. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience with Fortinet products, particularly FortiGate firewalls. - Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols. - Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and firewall policies. - Fortinet NSE certification (NSE 4 or above) is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks (ref:hirist.tech)
