Data Engineer - Snowflake DB

Job Title : GCP Data Engineer with Big Query Experience : 3 Years Notice : Immediate Job Location : Hyderabad Mode : Hybrid Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake, SQL (T-SQL), and SSIS to join our data engineering team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines to support our analytics and reporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong data warehousing expertise, proficiency in SQL, and experience with SSIS for ETL processes. Responsibilities : - Design and implement data pipelines in Snowflake using T-SQL and SSIS for ETL operations. - Develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows to support data integration, transformation, and loading processes. - Optimize data extraction and loading processes for performance and cost efficiency. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data in Snowflake. - Manage Snowflake's infrastructure, including database, schema, and table design, as well as data partitioning and clustering. - Develop automated processes for monitoring and maintenance of Snowflake environments. - Create and maintain technical documentation for data solutions and workflows. - Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 3-9 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, with a focus on Snowflake. - Advanced SQL (T-SQL) skills for writing, optimizing, and debugging complex queries. - Proven experience with SSIS for ETL development and management. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, Snowflake architecture, and best practices. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems like Git. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Certification in Snowflake or a similar data warehousing tool. - Experience with data modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema). - Familiarity with other ETL tools and data orchestration frameworks.
