Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Job Title : Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Automation) Location : Gurugram Experience : 5 years Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing based on product requirements. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on various applications and platforms. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements and expectations. - Identify, document, and track bugs; follow through to resolution. - Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Drive test automation strategies and frameworks to increase efficiency and effectiveness. - Monitor and analyze test results, generating detailed reports to communicate progress and issues. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and testing practices. Required Skills : - 5 years of experience in QA (both manual and automation). - Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. - Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. - Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Docker. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based work.
