Node.js Developer - Server Side Component

Role : NodeJS or TypeScript Developer and UNIT TESTING with Node. js : - Utilize Node.js for backend development, building scalable and high-performance server-side applications. - Implement best practices and design patterns for Node.js development to ensure code quality and maintainability. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with React or Angular frontend applications. Building Libraries and APIs : - Design and develop reusable libraries and APIs using Node.js for efficient code organization and modularization. - Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of libraries and APIs to meet business requirements. Test-Driven Development (TDD) : - Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices for writing unit tests and ensuring code quality. - Utilize frameworks like Jest or Mocha for unit testing Node.js applications and libraries. - Implement Dependency Injection to decouple components and facilitate unit testing. RESTful APIs and Microservices : - Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js to expose backend functionality to client applications. - Architect and implement microservices-based architectures using Node.js for building scalable and modular systems. - Ensure adherence to RESTful API design principles and best practices for consistent and intuitive API interfaces. Skills Required : Node.js Development : - Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript programming language. - Hands-on experience in building backend applications and APIs using Node.js. Frontend Frameworks (React or Angular) : - Experience working with either React or Angular frontend frameworks is preferred. - Understanding of frontend development principles and ability to collaborate with frontend developers. Test-Driven Development (TDD) : - Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and writing unit tests for Node.js applications. - Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha. RESTful APIs and Microservices : - Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Node.js. - Experience with microservices architecture and building microservices using Node.js.
