Business Intelligence Developer - SSIS/SSRS

Job Description : Profile : Business Intelligence Developer Location : Anywhere (WFH) Full Time Responsibility : - Design and validate reports, dashboards, and other data products to improve business - Develop Stored Procedures, tables, and views in SQL Server - Write SQL queries for data pulls, (SSRS) reports, or Power BI Premium Paginated Reports - Work with other team members to optimize development approaches and team processes - Utilize datasets from Snowflake cloud data warehouse - Follow standards for version control and change management - Assist in migrating reporting workloads from SQL Server SSRS to Snowflake Power BI/Paginated Reports - Candidate must be open to work in other BI tools based on project need - Candidate has excellent communication skills proven through client interactions, solution demonstrations/ Trainings, is open to travel within India and Outside India - Candidate has expertise in migration of existing systems to new architecture - Candidate must have ability to work independently and learn new technologies; willing to work both in support and development projects as per demand; demonstrate leading small teams/projects if required - Create and maintain documentation related to applications, data sources, and ETL movement within the Corporate Analytics data environment - Maintain and regularly update database coding standards, ETL processes and procedures. At times be able to provide guidance, training and mentoring to all the development team members on coding standards and best practices. Skills : - Expertise in, writing TSQL queries and stored procedures, design of database models for complex business needs - Expertise in development and maintenance of SSIS (ETL) packages, jobs involving large volume of data - Expertise in building complex reports/charts/dashboards using Tableau building report models - Expertise in design and development of data marts and BI reports, has strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts - Worked on performance optimization for DB, ETL, and/or Reports - Exposure to AWS cloud and databases like Redshift, Aurora, RDS will have added advantage - Candidates having experience on MS SQL Server Analysis Services will have added advantage (cube and dimension modeling, security setup) - Candidates having conceptual/ Working knowledge of SAP BPC/BI will have added advantage - Candidates having expertise in Data visualization tools or big-data will have added advantage (ref:hirist.tech)
