DevSecOps Lead

Job Description : The person will be responsible for the firm's DevSecOps platform and solutions for AWS and on-prem environments. You will lead design, estimate, develop and deploy cutting-edge DevSecOps solutions and services to support infrastructure/platform as a service. Your role will also be to ensure that design adequately represents and support the needs of application teams while following industry practices like fault tolerance, availability, security and observability. This role will also involve doing required POCs, wherever needed, while designing/implementing any new requirement coming our way. Responsibilities : - Help us continuously improve how we build, package and deliver our software services and applications to customers. - Need a bias towards action and experimentation, to iterate with teams and constantly evolve our tools and approach. - Work on the principle of the Cloud team to "Automate Everything". - Work on our development and production cloud infrastructure which is hosting all our cloud applications. - Facilitate and participate in design evaluations and ensure the completion of critical engineering design complying to different cloud platforms. - Work with colleagues around the world to ensure our customers can fully rely on our cloud services for their critical applications 24/7. - Participate in RFP (Request for proposal) exercises. Must have skills : - CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) - Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, helm, ansible - Strong experience in docker, docker-compose, ECR (Elastic Container Registry) - Strong experience in writing CI/CD pipelines, difference deployment strategies like Blue-Green and Canary deployment - Experience in implementing GitOps - Exposure to istio service mesh - Exposure to authorization and authentication (Okta or Keycloak). - Exposure to agile methodologies. - Exposure to DR strategies followed while building highly available applications. - Have strong Linux, Networking and System Administration skills. - Involved in the DevOps Community and Open-Source projects (visiting conferences, meetups, giving talks, etc) Good to have skills : - Must be AWS certified in one of more mentioned certifications (Solution Architect Associate/Advanced Networking/DevOps Engineer) - Strong experience on infrastructure as code using Terraform - Strong experience in VPC, Route53, Cloudfront, Elastic Load Balancing - Strong experience in EKS administration - Strong experience in AWS Cognito, AWS Directory services, IAM - Strong knowledge of logging, monitoring and alerting tools (AWS Cloudwatch, SNS, SQS) - Experience in administration of AWS Aurora, AWS DocumentDB, Opensearch, Elasticache - Strong experience with infrastructure and platform sizing, infrastructure cost reduction (ref:hirist.tech)
