SAP Basis Consultant

Job Title : SAP BASIS Consultant Location : Pan India Experience Level : 7-10 Years in SAP Basis and SAP Basis Operations Advanced Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability and performance of our SAP environments. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of SAP Basis, extensive experience with system administration, and proficiency in database management, security, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities : SAP Basis Administration : - Oversee SAP Basis administration, including system configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. - Manage and supervise system installations, configurations, and performance tuning across the SAP environment. - Ensure system stability by managing SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS), promoting all configuration and development changes. Technical Issue Resolution : - Conduct in-depth analysis of SAP-related issues to minimize business impact. - Provide efficient, high-quality support to resolve technical problems and improve system reliability. User Management and Security : - Oversee the management of SAP users, authorizations, and profiles, ensuring secure access and permissions. - Ensure the integrity of SAP and database environments by enforcing robust security practices. Database Administration : - Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems aligned with SAP requirements. - Manage database access, security, and integrity to protect enterprise data. - Oversee database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data availability. Network and System Maintenance : - Manage and maintain networks and network file systems to support the SAP environment. - Provide technical support and troubleshoot application-related issues to optimize system and Process Development : - Write operating manuals, document processes, and establish protocols for troubleshooting and resolving data issues. - Develop procedures for data archiving, fault resolution, and data recovery. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and SAP Basis Operations Advanced. - Strong expertise in OS administration, with proficiency in managing both Windows and Linux systems. - Proven experience with application installation, upgrading, and configuration. - Cloud computing proficiency and experience with cloud-hosted SAP environments. - Strong database administration skills, including security, backup, and recovery processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Ability to develop and document processes for fault resolution, data loss prevention, and data recovery. Preferred Qualifications : - SAP Basis certification or other relevant certifications. - Experience with scripting and automation to enhance system efficiency. - Familiarity with ITIL processes or similar frameworks for IT service management.
