SAP Ariba Concur Lead

Must Have experience : At least 1 full lifecycle SAP deployment lead and 8 years of industry or consulting experience. Deployment of the following products (Ariba Buying, SAP MM Procurement, SAP SLM (Supplier Lifecycle Management), SAP Travel & Expense (incl. SaaS Concur). Key Responsibilities : Solution Architecture & Design : - Lead the design and implementation of SAP Ariba and Concur solutions, including integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM) and third-party systems. - Provide subject matter expertise in best practices for procurement and expense management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Project Leadership & Delivery : - Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of SAP Ariba and Concur projects, from requirements gathering and design through to post-implementation support. - Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. System Configuration & Optimization : - Oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP Ariba and Concur solutions to meet business requirements. - Continuously monitor system performance and work on enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and provide solutions to business problems. Integration Management : - Ensure smooth integration of SAP Ariba and Concur with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, ERPs, CRMs). - Collaborate with integration teams to manage and maintain integration points such as supplier catalogs, invoicing, payments, and travel & expense data flows. Stakeholder Management : - Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment with business goals. - Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring adoption and effective use of the solutions. - Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories. Governance & Compliance : - Ensure that SAP Ariba and Concur processes adhere to corporate governance, compliance, and audit standards. - Monitor and manage system security roles, access controls, and permissions to safeguard sensitive data. Continuous Improvement : - Stay up-to-date with SAP Ariba and Concur updates and new releases, ensuring that the organization is leveraging the latest features and functionalities. - Identify and recommend process improvements to drive automation, reduce manual effort, and increase operational efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : - 8 years of experience with SAP Ariba and Concur solutions, including at least 3-5 years in a lead or senior position. - Proven experience with full lifecycle implementation and post-implementation support of SAP Ariba and Concur platforms. - Extensive experience with SAP Ariba Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts, and Invoice Management. - Strong understanding of SAP Concur Travel & Expense solutions. Technical Skills : - Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba integration with SAP ERP (SAP S/4HANA, ECC) and third-party systems. - Expertise in workflow design, reporting, and data analytics in both Ariba and Concur. - Proficiency in SAP Ariba and Concur configuration, customizations, and support. Project Management : - Strong project management skills, including experience managing large-scale cross-functional projects. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet project deadlines. - Certifications like PMP or equivalent are preferred. Communication & Leadership : - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams. - Ability to mentor and train junior team members and provide guidance on best practices. Other Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of SAP Ariba and Concur upgrade processes and the impact of new versions on existing configurations. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP Cloud solutions is a plus. - Ariba and Concur certifications are preferred. - Experience working in a global environment with multi-region teams.
