Database Developer - SQL

Position : Database Developer Experience : 8 Years Location : Remote Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Database Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain robust database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database programming, optimization, and the ability to support application development with efficient and secure database systems. Key Responsibilities : - Design and create relational and non-relational database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures. - Work with application developers to create efficient database structures that optimize performance. - Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to align database solutions with business needs. - Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support business logic and reporting. - Perform query optimization to improve database performance. - Ensure the efficiency of database queries and minimize resource consumption. - Implement and maintain database security, backup, and recovery procedures. - Ensure data integrity, data protection, and compliance with privacy regulations. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues. - Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and deliver efficient database solutions. - Write clear documentation for database structures, procedures, and best practices. - Provide database support during testing, deployment, and production phases. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 8 years of hands-on experience as a database developer or similar role. - Strong proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.). - Experience with database design and normalization techniques. - Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Strong experience with database design, indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures. - Experience with ETL tools and data integration (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica). - Knowledge of cloud-based database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, etc.).
