Quality Assurace Lead - Java/Selenium

Job Description : As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance process for mobile and web applications, ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will lead a team of QA engineers, driving automation efforts, and ensuring efficient test coverage using tools like Selenium and Appium. The role requires strong technical skills in Java and expertise in mobile app testing, with a focus on delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the QA team in planning, executing, and managing test activities for mobile and web applications. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java Selenium and Appium to ensure robust test coverage. - Perform end-to-end mobile app testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and UX designers to define and improve testing strategies. - Manage the test execution process, analyze test results, and report bugs and issues to the development team. - Ensure that QA processes are followed, and drive the adoption of best practices in software testing. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers, managing team dynamics and ensuring successful project delivery. - Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of the testing process, driving quality and efficiency. - Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies, introducing innovative solutions to improve the testing framework. Skills Required : - Strong proficiency in Java Selenium for automation testing. - Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile app automation. - Expertise in mobile app testing, including both Android and iOS platforms. - Experience in managing a QA team, including mentoring, task allocation, and performance monitoring. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred Industry Experience : - Product Companies experience is a must, with exposure to fast-paced development cycles and delivering high-quality software products.
