Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

Exp : 8-14. Location : Pune. - Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shift from Pune office. Key Responsibilities : Cloud Infrastructure Management : - Deploy, configure, and manage OCI resources, including compute instances, storage, networking, and databases. - Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and scalability. - Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices and standards. Security and Compliance : - Ensure OCI environments are secure by implementing proper access controls, encryption, and security policies. - Monitor and manage security alerts and compliance issues. - Regularly review and update security configurations to meet compliance requirements. Automation and Optimization : - Develop automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or OCI's native automation tools for provisioning and managing resources. - Optimize cloud resource usage and costs by monitoring and adjusting resource allocations. - Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies. Monitoring and Incident Management : - Set up monitoring and alerting for OCI resources using tools like Oracle Cloud Monitoring, Grafana, or other third-party tools. - Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve infrastructure problems. - Ensure high availability and uptime of OCI services and applications. Collaboration and Support : - Work closely with application development, IT operations, and security teams to support cloud infrastructure needs. - Assist in planning and implementing cloud migrations and upgrades. - Provide support and guidance to users on OCI best practices and usage. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain up-to-date documentation on cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. - Generate regular reports on cloud resource usage, performance, and security. - Document and communicate changes, incidents, and resolutions to relevant stakeholders. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest OCI services, features, and best practices. - Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and solutions to improve infrastructure performance and security. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - At least 3-5 years of experience in cloud administration, with specific experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security. - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Solid understanding of network and security concepts in cloud environments. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. - Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shift from Pune office. Preferred Skills : - OCI certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
