ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Module

Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform. - Utilize JavaScript to create business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions to enhance platform functionality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on ServiceNow. - Develop integrations with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and REST protocols. - Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. - Customize and configure out-of-the-box ServiceNow modules, including ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management), Service Catalog, and CMDB. - Provide support for existing ServiceNow implementations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis. - Participate in platform upgrades and ensure smooth transitions to new versions. - Document development processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference. Skills Required : - Proven experience in ServiceNow application development and customization. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with ServiceNow scripting (business rules, client scripts, UI policies). - Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and platform administration. - Experience with REST, SOAP, and API integrations. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and teams effectively. Preferred Qualifications : - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist is a plus. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. (ref:hirist.tech)
