Senior Specialist - PowerApps

Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Specialist - Software Engineering with deep expertise in Power Platform technologies, specifically Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Dataverse, and Power Pages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced solutions to support business automation and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Power Platform Development : - Design and develop complex business solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, and Dataverse. - Create and manage Power Pages to support web-based applications. - Leverage Power Automate to automate workflows and business processes across the organization. Solution Architecture : - Define the architecture for Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategies. - Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Application Development : - Develop and deploy custom solutions that enhance the user experience and improve operational efficiency. - Design reusable components and templates that can be leveraged across multiple applications and projects. Data Integration : - Integrate Power Platform applications with external systems and databases, including the use of Dataverse for data management. - Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls and governance policies. Performance Optimization : - Conduct performance tuning and optimization of PowerApps applications to ensure scalability and responsiveness. - Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, providing quick resolution to minimize downtime. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the team. Documentation and Compliance : - Maintain detailed documentation of all developed solutions, including workflows, data models, and technical configurations. - Ensure that all solutions adhere to company policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement : - Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Power Platform technologies and continuously identify opportunities to improve the organization's use of these tools. - Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design workshops to promote knowledge sharing and team collaboration. Qualifications and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. - 9 to 12 years of experience in software engineering, with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in PowerApps (Canvas, Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages. - Strong experience in integrating Power Platform applications with other Microsoft services like SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs. - Proven ability to design and develop scalable, user-friendly solutions using PowerApps. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex application issues. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
