Job Description : - We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team for a short-term project. - The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud technologies. - You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, transformation, and storage of data across various platforms. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement robust data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services. - Manage and optimize data flow between on-premise systems and the Azure cloud. - Develop, test, and deploy ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and similar tools. - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new tools in data engineering and cloud computing. Critical Skills To Possess : - Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud technologies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Databricks. - Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data transformation using tools like Azure Data Factory or Azure Logic Apps. - Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, or Spark. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g, Git) and CI/CD pipelines for code deployment. - Knowledge of data security and compliance practices within Azure.
