Embedded Software Engineer - C/C++ Programming

Position : Embedded Software Engineer Location : Chennai - WFO Experience : 3 to 5 years Salary : 8.50 LPA Must Have Skills : Programming Languages : - Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ is essential. - Additional experience in Python and assembly language is valuable. Microcontrollers and Microprocessors : - Proficient in 8-bit to 32-bit architecture (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC, MSP430, STM32, Raspberry PI, Arduino) and their peripherals. Hardware and Electronics : - Knowledge of circuit design, hardware testing, and interfacing with sensors and actuators. Software Development : - Proficiency in design patterns (UML), software debugging, testing, and version control (e.g., GIT/SVN). Communication Protocols : - Understanding of protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, or TCP/IP, CAN. Unit Testing : - Proficiency in writing and executing unit tests. - Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) : - Experience with IDEs like Keil uVision, IAR Embedded Workbench, Code Composer Studio, Eclipse, etc. Test and Measurement Tools : - Proficient in CRO, Logic analyzers, Multi-meter, DSO, Function generator, and power supply. Good to Have Skills : - RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) : - Familiarity with RTOS principles, including task scheduling, synchronization, and memory management. Debuggers : - Experience with tools such as J-Link, Segger J-Trace, Lauterbach TRACE32. Linux Device Drivers : - Ability to write device drivers for embedded systems running Linux. Bootloaders : - Knowledge of bootloader development and configuration. Simulators : - Experience with simulators like Proteus and Simulink. RTOS Experience : - Experience with popular RTOS platforms like FreeRTOS, Zephyr, uC/OS-II, or VxWorks. Debugging : - Strong debugging skills to efficiently identify and fix software defects. Unit Testing Frameworks : - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like CUnit, Google Test, or Unity.
