Data Modeler - ETL/SQL

Job Description : We are looking for a skilled Data Modeler to join our team in Chennai/Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data models, with a strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as GCP, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop data models that meet business requirements and align with the overall data architecture. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models. - Optimize and maintain existing data models to ensure data integrity and performance. - Implement and manage ETL processes using tools like Dataflow to move data efficiently across systems. - Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data models are implemented effectively in GCP and BigQuery. - Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure data quality and support data governance initiatives. - Document data models and data flows, providing clear and concise technical documentation. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8-10 years of experience in data modeling and database design. - Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Dataflow. - Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. - Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
