Move with us for a better world Your Role We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Sustainability Team , reporting directly to the Sustainability Director. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our sustainability initiatives forward, focusing on certifications, raw material circularity, selection of eco-friendly materials, and reducing the company's carbon footprint to achieve carbon neutrality. Your Impact Certifications Management: Oversee the process of obtaining and maintaining relevant environmental certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Raw Material Circularity: Develop strategies to promote circularity in our raw material usage, including but not limited to recycling programs, waste reduction initiatives, and sustainable sourcing practices. Eco-Friendly Material Selection: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement materials that are environmentally friendly and contribute to the overall sustainability goals of the organization. Carbon Footprint Reduction: Lead efforts to assess, monitor, and reduce the company's carbon footprint through innovative solutions, energy efficiency measures, and the adoption of renewable energy sources. Technical Environmental and Product Relations: Serve as the technical expert on environmental matters, providing guidance and support to internal teams on environmental regulations, product sustainability, and best practices. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to foster relationships and drive collective action towards sustainability objectives. About You Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience in environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field. Proven track record of managing sustainability initiatives, preferably within a corporate setting. Strong understanding of environmental regulations, certifications, and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
