Job Description

Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of Program Manager for S&OP team to keep delighting our customers by fulfilling products from Amazon and our Selling Partners at the fastest possible speed, on-time and at the lowest possible cost. The role is a part of the Brazil Supply Chain under the S&OP and Placement team.
As part of S&OP and Placement team, you will seek out problems, dive deep into data, earn trust of partner teams, and deliver results that can have a large scale influence. This role is a blend of short term execution and long term strategic planning, that requires quick decision-making, with incomplete data, while also thinking big and influencing the long term direction of the Amazon Brazil Fulfillment Operations. This role will give you a unique view of Amazon systems, process and operations, interacting with multiple teams and solving problems while the engine is running at full speed. It is broad and complex, with meaningful economic impact to the company. The end goal of this role is to answer the question of how we can fulfill more products to our customers in a safer, faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective manner.

Key job responsibilities

This role will work close to the Ops teams (Fulfillment Center and Last Mile) and Stores teams (Retail and FBA) along with multiple other teams to implement process improvements and new technical features to improve forecast accuracy. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused and used to work with ambiguity. They will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. In this position you will:

  1. Forecasting inbound and outbound volumes at Fulfillment Center (FC) weekly and daily levels
  2. Set up processes to improve forecasting accuracy with an objective to minimize cost and maximize operations productivity
  3. Develop queries and data visualization for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting
  4. Improve existing processes by identifying and implementing available tools/automation
  5. Deep dive and analyze key business performance metrics, identify gaps, create plans to drive forecast deviations reductions
  6. Develop new metrics and performance indicators to evaluate, audit and improve efficiency of S&OP forecasting
  7. Own day-to-day operations execution and implement quick actions to keep adhering to the plan
  8. Own regular business reviews with leadership and operational teams to audit ongoing performance against key metrics and program goal.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Advanced English Level (written/verbal);
  • Experience in monitoring processes using data and metrics;
  • Knowledge of Excel (PivotTables, VLookUps) at an advanced level;
  • Basic/Intermediate SQL knowledge (or any other programming language).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in program or project management;
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
  • Experience in process building, project management and schedules.
