Quality Document Controller
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance? Join our client's dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing supplier quality documentation and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Quality Document Controller, you will:
- Manage Supplier Documentation: Review and approve supplier certifications, welding documents, quality plans, and other relevant materials for various projects.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify external documents against codes, standards, and material specifications, including material certificates, inspection test plans, and more.
- Documentation Excellence: Oversee the correct storage of supplier documentation, compile customer data books, and maintain quality plans for contracts.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues in collaboration with purchasing and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with our Welding Engineer to ensure accurate certification and assist QA Engineers with control plans.
- Audit and Review: Support internal audits, review non-conformances, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with design codes for materials (ASME, British Standards, Norsok, etc.) and rotating equipment standards (API, Norsok, or equivalent).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to check, validate, and interpret quality documentation.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with software like Epicor and CAPA is a plus.
- NDT Practices: Understanding of Non-Destructive Testing practices.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
