Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AV Engineer to support a key education client in London. This role will involve both installation and service of audio-visual equipment, ensuring top-quality AV solutions that enhance the learning environment. As an AV Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and maintaining AV systems to ensure uninterrupted functionality in classrooms, lecture halls, and other educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, and test AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, sound systems, and control systems, to meet the specific needs of educational spaces

* Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on AV systems to ensure optimal performance

* Provide on-site technical support to quickly resolve AV issues, minimizing downtime for the client

* Collaborate closely with the education client to understand requirements, deliver timely updates, and offer customized AV solutions

* Ensure all installations and service work adhere to industry best practices, safety standards, and company protocols

* Conduct training sessions for end-users to effectively operate AV systems

* Maintain detailed documentation of installation and service activities, equipment specifications, and client interactions

Skills & Requirements

* Proven experience in AV installation and support, ideally within an educational or similar environment

* Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, including brands such as Crestron, Extron, AMX, and Polycom

* Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to AV systems, networking, and control systems

* Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

* Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D) are a plus

* Flexibility to work occasional off-hours as needed to meet client demands
