Bennett and Game have the pleasure of representing a prestigious regional house developer based in the Stevenage area who are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team. Having been established for almost a century, our client has a long standing and reputable name within the industry, so is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a company with firm growth plans in the coming years. As a family run business our client is genuinely proud of their product, and are widely considered one of the premium house builders from both a specification and build quality perspective in the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire counties.
The Contracts Manager who secures this position will be responsible for monitoring work on high end residential builds ensuring jobs are completed on time and within budget. The Contracts Manager will be based from the office in the Stevenage area with sites being 1 hour from there.
The most suitable candidate will come from a developer or contractor background and will be seeking the next step within their career.
Contracts Manager Salary & Benefits
Salary: £70k - £80k DOE
Car Allowance OR Company Car

Pension
22 days holiday plus bank holidays and paid Christmas shutdown
Excellent work-life balance with no expectation to work past 5pm

Contracts Manager Job Overview
Office based near Stevenage with sites 1 hour from there
Overseeing multiple sites at anyone time varying from 2-100 units depending on size and value
Delivering a quality product at the premium end of the market
Collaborating with the Construction Director to work with all departments to achieve company targets
Contracts Manager Job Requirements
Traditional build experience is essential
Prior experience as a Contracts Manager working for a housebuilder or similar
Must have experience managing multiple Site Managers at one time
Full driving licence
Based within 1 hour of the office in the Stevenage area
