Our Professional Services Department is actively seeking strategic and experienced consultants to join our team.


In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and meeting utilisation targets. Your expertise in software implementation and working with legacy systems will be essential in delivering exceptional value to our clients. This consultancy role will involve working extensively with payroll systems, making prior knowledge and experience in payroll essential. Previous successful candidates have demonstrated a strong career history in customer facing payroll role.


This position offers a remote work option, as MHR head offices are based in Nottingham. However, occasional travel to customer sites MAY be required during the week. We are actively promoting remote working to accommodate our widespread MHR customer base across the UK.



Duties and responsibilities:

Customer Portfolio Management:

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of customers, ensuring each receives tailored consultancy services.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide optimal solutions.

Utilisation and Chargeability:

  • Achieve and maintain utilisation targets, ensuring that a significant portion of your time is chargeable to customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on utilisation and chargeability metrics.

Software Implementation:

  • Lead and participate in software implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment and integration with existing systems.
  • Conduct assessments, develop implementation plans, and provide post-implementation support.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with legacy providers and internal project teams to deliver cohesive and comprehensive solutions.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between various stakeholders to ensure project success.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a consultancy role, preferably with a focus on payroll software implementation.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legacy systems and the challenges associated with their integration and maintenance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Experience with various software implementation methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software solutions and trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
