Electrical Technician – Day Shifts
Location: Stocksbridge
Salary: £42,807.42
Shift: 12-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain industrial systems including hydraulic systems, pumps, drives, and gearboxes.
- Manage heavy machinery, water cooling systems, material handling systems, dust extraction systems, robotics, and PLCs.
- Handle AC & DC circuits with precision and expertise.
- Lead a small team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to achieve organisational goals.
- Methodically fault-find and resolve issues to root cause and front-line rectification.
- Operate under permit systems, ensuring compliance and safety.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
- Sound plant engineering knowledge and experience with industrial systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault-find any issues.
- Experience working under permit systems or knowledge of their operation.
- Customer-focused attitude with an understanding of prioritisation with current resources.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Self-starting, driven individual capable of leading a small team.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault-find any issues to root cause and front-line rectification.
