Associate Finance Assistant
Remote Working (UK)
Temporary/Part Time (3/4 days)
£15-£19 per hour, DOE, weekly pay and accrued holiday pay
Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client a UK based health technology start-up, to recruit a part-time Associate Finance Assistant on a temporary ongoing basis.
This position is based remotely in the UK with access to an office in Leeds if you wish to work there.
The role:
Managing the day-to-day accountancy transactions whilst supporting the Finance Lead with a variety of finance and operational tasks including:
* Initial purchase invoice reviews
* Coding invoices to account codes, departments and projects
* Raising purchase orders
* Liaising with the wider business to collect purchase invoices to be input by our bookkeeper
* Collection of monthly timesheet information
* Accounts reconciliation and reporting support
* Supporting management accounts production
* Bank reconciliation
* Ad hoc supplier payments
* Initial approver of expense claims within company policy
* Budget monitoring and communication
* Monitoring the finance inbox and submitting invoices to Dext.
* Working with ApprovalMax, Xero and Mosaic
You will need:
* Proven experience in a similar finance/accountancy role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work deadlines whilst showing strong attention to detail
* The ability to work as part of a team
* To be self-motivated and proactive with a good sense of judgement
This is a part-time temporary role, and our client is extremely flexible in terms of the working hours across the 3 or 4 days.
