Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to advance your career in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of critical building systems for our high-profile clients.
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive maintenance needs on all mechanical systems at the site. From HVAC to hot and cold water systems, you’ll apply your expertise to maintain peak performance standards, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our clients.
Job Role:
* Conduct regular PPM on mechanical plant equipment according to task schedules
* Quickly address and resolve mechanical faults to minimize downtime
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and completed repairs
* Collaborate with sub-contractors, site staff, and client representatives to uphold safety and performance standards
* Contribute to a safe working environment through adherence to risk assessments, use of PPE, and method statements
Key Skills/Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 in HVAC or a related mechanical discipline
* 2+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, ideally in facilities or building services
* Strong understanding of HVAC, hot and cold water systems, and basic electrical knowledge
* An eye for continuous improvement, client focus, and commitment to compliance and safety
