Job Description
As a Senior Administration Assistant you will be report to your team manager and you will play an integral role in the efficient running of the team. You will assist the case handlers in the team with all finance related actions and liaise with the relevant person in the Finance team to ensure this is completed efficiently. Other tasks which you will be responsible for include:
Closing files, ensuring all MI is captured and is accurate as part of the closing process
Liaising with all relevant stakeholders (CRP, Team Manager, Finance etc.) regarding aged debt
Dealing with Client balances
Processing write-offs as part of the billing process
Completing billing pro-formas
Pushing forward with billing where appropriate
This role can be carried out in Liverpool, Leeds, Leicester & Manchester.
This list is not intended to be exhaustive and you will be expected to perform other duties and have other responsibilities that fall within the wider remit of the role. As a Senior Administration Assistant you will also ensure you comply with the relevant Weightmans and client policies and procedures, and consistently work in accordance with our values.
About You
You will be an experienced Administration Assistant/Secretary with strong numeracy and MI skills. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We are also looking for you to have:
Excellent IT skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritise
Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
