MERITUS are working with one of the world's leading defence contractors for the recruitment of a security cleared Requirements Engineer to join their offices in Surrey
Requirements Engineer - Permanent - Up to £56,000 per annum - Surrey - SC Cleared - UK Citizen
V&V engineers are a core to each project. Working within project teams, the V&V function ensures the essential activities are conducted throughout engineering lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities:
Apply IVVTQA principles and best practice across the SE lifecycle, from requirements, design, integration and the V&V stages, supporting the acceptance process.
Contribute towards key elements of IVVTQA management plans, processes using approved methods, SQEP and resources/facilities, also their maintenance and management.
Aid creation and perform IVVTQA activities as per approved plans, processes and procedures.
Maintain alignment, or a tailored approach, of IVVTQA lifecycle activities in accordance with department and Industry standards
Support IVVTQA at Project reviews, including Design reviews, Risk, Change Impact etc.Your Experience:
Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Software/Hardware engineering (SE processes and methodologies (iaw ISO 15288/ISO 29119/INCOSE))
Experienced in System Engineering V&V lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting
Proven experience of an evidence based approach for Systems Integration, V&V and Acceptance
Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management
Good communication, stakeholder management, & technical report writing
