Job Description

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a client in the city centre of Belfast to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team. Key Responsibilities: - Execute credit control procedures for tenants in arrears, utilising various communication methods. - Maintain detailed and accurate records of all credit control activities for individual accounts. - Manage the end-to-end credit control process across the assigned portfolio, ensuring thorough follow-up. - Collaborate closely with Property Managing Surveyors and clients to identify and resolve payment issues. - Prepare regular internal reports on tenant arrears, as well as customised external reports for clients. - Issue invoices, client statements, final demands, and seven-day letters; assist with legal proceedings when necessary, including small claims. Essential Qualifications: - Proven experience in credit control. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality client service. - Experience in managing tasks independently and meeting deadlines. - Ability to work effectively within a team environment. - Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. - Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A to C), including Mathematics and English.
