Role Overview
As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site electrical installations for commercial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires effective leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with various project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage on-site electrical teams, including direct labour and subcontractors, to achieve project milestones.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with the site management team to ensure seamless coordination across all trades and services.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections, manage quality assurance processes, and ensure all installations meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices and monitoring adherence on-site.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, complete daily site reports, and communicate project progress to the Project Manager.
• Resource Management: Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring availability aligns with project timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
• Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor within the building services sector, ideally within commercial projects in London.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm installations.
• Certifications: Required certifications include ECS Gold Card; additional certifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS required
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
