Job Description

Facilities Technician with an engineering background required for a fantastic new laboratory environment. We are seeking someone with strong experience within a laboratory setting with specialised knowledge of the equipment within it.

We are therefore looking for an experienced Engineer from either an electrical, mechanical or instrumentation background who can understand technical drawings. As a Facilities Technician you’ll need to be able to diagnose faults, order parts and components and work to structured safety processes and procedures. You should be comfortable with laboratory equipment and calibration, and performing preventative maintenance, as well as reacting to any issues that may occur.

Facilities Technician role requirements:

* Qualified engineer - either mechanical, electrical or instrumentation

* Prior experience as a Facilities Technician or maintenance technician in a laboratory setting is essential

* Good knowledge technical drawings

This is a great opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join a thriving organisation which are also working on a totally new greenfield laboratory facility build project. Kindly note that you will need to be based full time in Oxford for this position. In return, they offer a salary up to £40k and a range of benefits. They will also consider a candidate who is looking to relocate from another part of the UK to Oxford.
