Job Title: Site Engineer
Salary: £(Apply online only) per day

Type: Contract 6-12 months - full time
About the Role:
Our client is looking to strengthen their Construction team with a Site Engineer based on-site. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, this role focuses on providing essential setting out and quality control services to ensure that all works are constructed to specification, safely, and with meticulous record-keeping. This project is within the sewage treatment works sector, and prior experience in similar environments is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to C.D.M. Regulations and company safe working practices for all tasks.
Support the preparation of construction programmes, Method Statements, Action Plans, and Risk Assessments.
Perform setting out tasks and check site work to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
Agree site measurements and records with the client's representatives.
Maintain up-to-date drawing files, drawing registers, and site filing systems.
Liaise with the design department to ensure the latest information is used.
Take off quantities from drawings to support measurement and requisition preparations.
Assist in preparing construction completion documentation.
Ensure the works meet specified quality standards and maintain quality records.
Ensure compliance with company health & safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
Lead by example to promote safety-first behaviours across the site.
What Our Client is Looking For:
Essential:
Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic levels)Desirable:
Existing experience in the sewage treatment works or water sector
First Aid at Work qualification
SSSTS certification
CSCS Supervision card
EUSR SHEA Water certification
BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction
