Engineering Coordinator

Job title: Engineering Coordinator

Location: Templecombe, Somerset - must be able to commit to 3 days in the office

Security Clearance: SC clearance required/must be able to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance.

About the role

This role involves providing onsite support and serving as the first line of contact for the business and its stakeholders.

What you will be doing

• Generation of part numbers.
• Modify database structures.
• Generation of data and technical packs for procurement.
• Documentation control.
• Support engineering team with technical specifications; development of test plans, recording results of test execution.
• Monitor expiry dates for all documentation.

About You

You will have a degree within design/aerospace/systems engineering and will have the skills and the ability to adapt to having multiple different tasks ongoing in parallel. You will demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work within technical teams.

You will have the following experience:

• Degree or equivalent within engineering design/aerospace/systems
• Previous experience within an engineering environment (aerospace/defence/maritime).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications (MS Word and MS Excel).
• Experience within a hardware/systems engineering environment is beneficial.
