Test Technician (Powertrains)

We are recruiting for an Engine Test Technician for an Engineering business supplying into the F1, Motorsport and Automotive markets. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers as well as large investment throughout the business to maximise capacity, the growing business is looking to add an Engine Test Technician.

What does it involve?

The company is looking for an experienced Engine Test Technician who has experience working within a fast-paced Motorsport, Automotive or F1 company with extensive Dyno and Engine Rigging experience. Work is mostly high-performance Race/OEM powertrains for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) with Electric Vehicle (EV) testing.

What is needed for me to be considered?

* Experienced Engine Test Technician.

* Working knowledge of Powertrain Control Systems (ICE / EV)

* In depth knowledge of full engine/EV powertrain dynamometer testing.

* Sub-system rig testing.

* High Voltage experience (although training will be provided).
