Mechanical Fitter

Our client is recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter within the Production Team. This is a hands-on role for a multi skilled technician with excellent career prospects.

Key Duties and Skills

· Mechanical fitting experience of bespoke machinery

· Ability to manufacture and assemble from Technical/Engineering drawings

· Understanding of Pneumatics systems

· Experience in the installation of Motors, Gearboxes, Belts, Bearings etc

· Use of various hand and power tools

· Machine tool exposure

· Competent IT Skills

· Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations

· Carry out any such tasks as required from time to time, provided they are within the competence of the postholder.

Desirable

· Forklift Driving Experience desirable

· Working at Height desirable

· Must have an Attention to Detail

· Strong Electro-mechanical background

· Able to work under own initiative but also a team player

· Strong Communication skills

Remuneration

* £competitive salary

* Early Friday finish – 37 hour working week (Monday to Thursday 07.45am – 4.15pm, Friday 07.45am – 12.45pm)
