A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate to join its employment litigation team. Duties Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate defense strategies in employment litigation cases
Prepare, review, and revise pleadings, discovery requests, briefs, memos, and other legal correspondence
Examine and interpret employment records to support case strategy
Represent clients in court and before relevant administrative bodies
Engage in all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, conferences, trials, and appeals
Work with employment law experts to inform case development
Conduct thorough legal and employment law research
Draft, file, and argue motions as necessary
Maintain consistent client communication and provide case updates
Coordinate effectively with internal team members to ensure case objectives are met
Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation
Active license to practice law in New Jersey
Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications Admission to the New Jersey State Bar
Skills Strong legal research skills, with a focus on employment law
Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities
Client interaction skills that inspire trust and confidence
