Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 12/9/2024
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $1745.66 - $2011.31
Neuro Specials tech - (719)/ VIT needed asap
8 hrs am, 7a-3p/13 weeks
On call required
Type of equipment – cath lab, biplane, guidewires, catheters, balloons, stents, closure devices
EMR - meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· Neuro IR experience
· At least 1 year in specials procedures IR
Current BCLS certification required.
· Demonstrated clinical competence, as outlined in the appropriate orientation checklist
· Maintains competency on a consistent basis
· Thorough technical knowledge
· Able to deal with stressful situation and to stand for long periods of time.
· Neurovascular Course
· Hospital approved abbreviation course
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Neuro IR proficiency
· Experience in comprehensive stroke centers
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Thrombectomies
· Cerebral Angiograms
· Carotid Stenting/Angiography
· Aneurysms and AVMs
· Intracranial stenting/angio

Today, the hospital boasts 320 beds and a physician staff of more than 500 in an impressive 35 specialties. The facility offers 24 ER care, comprehensive cardiovascular services, a 30 bed NICU, Level III trauma care, and maintains the only pediatric heart program in the area.
