Responsibilities:
- Oversee timelines and scope for equipment purchases, installations, and qualification processes.
- Participate in and facilitate Kaizen events and Roadmap planning sessions to drive capacity increases.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Lead the full qualification process from start to finish, including component and special process qualifications (e.g., coatings, brazing).
- Apply expertise in design and manufacturing to introduce innovations that streamline qualification, reduce costs, and add value.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities within qualification processes.
- Provide regional and, in some cases, global support for shop operations.
- Foster a positive, high-energy work environment, instilling a sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Drawing Review, Mechanical Engineering principles, CAD, FEA, Manufacturing practices, Lean methodologies, GD&T, and Project Management.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
