Database Administrator

Job Title : Database Administrator. Location : Sector 81, NSEZ. Office Timings : 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM. Experience : Must have minimum 5-6 years experience in Database Handling. Key Accountabilities : - Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others. - Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and integrity of databases. - Perform regular database backups and recover data in the event of failures. - Conduct regular database health checks and troubleshoot performance issues. - Analyze and optimize queries, indexes, and database structures to ensure high performance. - Regularly review and audit database access and activity for compliance with security standards and regulations. - Work with developers and system architects to define data requirements and translate them into database solutions. - Regularly apply software updates, patches, and upgrades to DBMS systems and databases to keep them current and secure. Desired Candidate Profile : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) preferably from premiere institute. - Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role, typically 5-8 years. - Strong knowledge of database platforms such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, ASM, MariaDB databases. - Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX) and networking fundamentals. - Experience with database backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly with database performance and issues related to large datasets. - Attention to Detail and good communication skills.
