DevOps Head - AWS Infrastructure

Job Title : DevOps Lead Company : AppSquadz Experience : 5 - 15 years Job Summary : At AppSquadz, we are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Lead to help us build and maintain efficient systems that enhance the customer experience. As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying and resolving production issues, and implementing integrations that align with customer requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, be familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and collaborate closely with developers and engineers to ensure adherence to established processes. Responsibilities : - Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure. - Automate and improve development and release processes. - Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats. - Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and functions as intended. - Modernize infrastructure and DevOps processes within projects through well-designed frameworks or architectures. - Understand the requirements of clients and internal teams, providing effective solutions. - Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes. - Manage and optimize infrastructure needs using public cloud services like AWS. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Proven experience as a DevOps Manager or in a similar software engineering role. - Proficiency with source code version control solutions (e.g, GitHub, Bitbucket). - Expertise in build and release management, with experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps, including setup, templating, and configuration. - Experience with Docker orchestration and containerization using Kubernetes. - Knowledge of various DevOps tools for artifact management, vaults, and code scanning. - Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach. - Knowledge of AWS services and their implementation. Preferred Skills : - Familiarity with additional cloud platforms (e.g, Azure, Google Cloud). - Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible (ref:hirist.tech)
