Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Java development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design and Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate. - Database Integration : Develop and maintain database schemas and queries using Hibernate for efficient data access and manipulation. - API Development : Create and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between different components of the application. - Code Optimization : Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshooting : Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure the reliability and scalability of applications. - Documentation : Document code, technical specifications, and architectural designs to facilitate team collaboration and future maintenance. - Unit Testing : Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of software components. - Collaboration : Collaborate with other developers, software architects, and product owners to deliver high quality software solutions within defined timelines. - Continuous Learning : Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and Hibernate. - Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles. - Experience with RESTful API development and web services. - Knowledge of database design and SQL, with expertise in Hibernate for database integration. - Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Preferred Skills : - Experience with microservices architecture. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with Azure cloud. - Exposure to front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, or React.
